First off, thank you to all members, coaches, Sharon Smith, Helen & Emma Burns for helping with the have a go event. A special thank you to everyone who turned up at 12:30 to help setup the ranges and to Blake for the aerial photography.
Although we only had 21 people attend the event. It has resulted in one person signing up for beginner lesson on this Saturday. One person who seemed very interested in the beginner lessons and, one person who is joining the club from another Grimsby based club who are no longer associated with Archery GB. It was great to see so many of our club members shooting and talking with the public about archery. Let’s hope are next events have even better response.

To all members we need your help to make these events a success. Even if you don’t feel that you could put a bow in someone’s hand and get them shooting you can still help in other ways. This could be putting up posters in your local shops or even just sharing the event on your social media.
You may be surprised to know that 738 people had seen the post on our main Facebook page. The events page had 78 see the post. A total of 816 people saw the post and only 21 people turned up (I know it only about 2.5%). The more members who share the post will increase the number of people exposed to the event.
If you can help on the day, please book in on the members event calendar and comment of what time you can do as we need to know rough numbers.
