Grimsby Archers is currently hosting three have a go day’s this year. For this to happen we need volunteers to help at these events. These are good opportunity for the club to promote archery to new people. Over the that last few years, we have lost over 60 members and for the club to remain strong we need to build back up the number of members. Wilton Fields is a great venue for the club as it has a high foot fall as many private events are held there. Even if you don’t feel that you could put a bow in someone’s hand and get them shooting you can still help in other ways. We need members who are willing to talk about archery to the public. Even just by being at the event and shooting will help show the diversity in members we have in the club.
The dates are as follows
Start Archery Week – Sunday 22nd May 2022 14:00 to 18:00
Grimsby Archers Festival of Archery – Sunday 10th July 2022 9:30 to 16:00
Wilton Fields Fun Day – Saturday 20th August 2022 9:30 to 16:00
Even if you could only spare a couple of hours that would make all the difference. If you can help out, please book in on the members event calendar and comment of what time you can do as we need to know rough numbers.
